As reported by Good Morning America, the FDA is requiring that warnings about the risks of heart attack and stroke be added to the labeling for testosterone. The popular drugs are being over used and are not safe.
Good Morning America spoke with Bob Cripe, one of our clients, about the spinal stroke he suffered leaving him paralyzed. Like our other clients, Bob stated that if he had known the risks of testosterone, he never would have taken the AndroGel.
A doctor informed Good Morning America that the vast majority of men who are taking testosterone medications do not have the conditions that the drug is approved to treat. The FDA is also requiring labels to clarify that the drugs should not be widely prescribed to treat symptoms of aging.
