Louisville Car Accident Kills 31-Year-Old Man

A Louisville car accident leaves a 31-year-old man dead after he crashes into a local building. The incident took place at approximately 1:00 AM on Friday morning, March 19, 2010, near the intersection of 18th and Broadway.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, a man was killed after he drove his car through a TARC sign and into a building in the city’s west end. Fortunately, the building was vacant at the time of the incident.
The driver has been identified as JeJuan Winston, 31, of Louisville. Rescue crews pronounced Winston dead at the scene of the accident from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the early morning accident.
There were no other people reportedly involved in the fatal single-vehicle accident.
Police have not yet determined if drugs or alcohol were factors in the fatal wreck. They are currently awaiting toxicology results to make that determination.
The Louisville auto accident is still under investigation by local authorities. Police believe that speed may have played a role in Winston’s death.
This is an unfortunate accident that claimed the life of this Louisville man. We would like to extend our thoughts and condolences to Mr. Winston’s family and friends during this difficult time.
