Lexington Car Accident Leaves Woman Injured

A Lexington car accident involving three vehicles sends one woman to the hospital after her car flips over while attempting to avoid another vehicle. The incident took place at approximately 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, on New Circle Road.
According to Lexington Police, three vehicles were involved in a collision along New Circle Road, near Alexandria Drive, where a vehicle flipped over while trying to avoid a collision with another vehicle. Police report that only two of the vehicles actually collided. The role of the third vehicle was unclear.
Rescue crews transported the unidentified female driver of the vehicle that flipped over to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Her condition was not immediately made known.
Fortunately, there did not appear to be any other injuries resulting from the crash. The identities of the other drivers were not immediately made available.
The three-vehicle Lexington car accident is still under investigation by local authorities. There was no immediate indication as to who was at fault or what may have caused the accident.
This is an unfortunate incident, and we would like to wish all the victims a speedy recovery during this challenging time.
