On March 3, 2015, the FDA announced that it is requiring a labeling change for all testosterone medications to clarify the approved uses for the drugs. The FDA is reiterating that testosterone is only approved for men who have low testosteorne levels caused by specific medical conditions (primary hypogonadism and secondary hypogonadism).

Testosterone medications, like AndroGel, are not approved for treating Low T or low testosteorne levels caused by aging. The FDA notes that the "benefit and safety of these medications have not been established for the treatment of low testosterone levels due to aging, even if a man's symptoms seem related to low testosterone."

If you or a loved one suffered a heart attack, stroke, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis or blood clot after taking testosterone, please call our experienced AndroGel attorneys at (888) 606-5297 for a free consultation about your potential testosterone lawsuit.
