Posted on Oct 14, 2010
A Cincinnati pedestrian accident involving a stolen vehicle claims the life of a woman believed to be in her 60s. The Spring Grove Village accident took place at approximately 1:15 PM on Monday afternoon, October 11, 2010, at Winton Road at Circle Avenue.

According to authorities, a stolen Honda Accord hit another vehicle, struck a fire hydrant and then slammed into a female pedestrian along Winton Road. The woman lost her life due to injuries sustained in the fatal pedestrian accident.

The victim had no identification on her and therefore could not be identified. Police believe that she may have been waiting for a bus when she was hit.

The Honda came to a stop on the grounds of the Winton Place Baptist Church and Academy. That is where the suspect got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. He has been described as a black male in his 40s.

The car was reported stolen from Springfield Township.

The fatal Cincinnati pedestrian accident is still under investigation by the Cincinnati Traffic Unit. It was unclear as to whether police located the fleeing driver.

This is a terrible accident and we would like to extend our thoughts and condolences to the victim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
