Cincinnati Car Accident Sends One to Local Hospital

A Cincinnati car accident involving two vehicles leaves several people injured, including one who had to be hospitalized. The incident took place at approximately 5:30 AM on Tuesday morning, June 29, 2010, near the Brent Spence Bridge.

The incident reportedly occurred along northbound Interstate 75 at the Fifth Street exit at the Brent Spence Bridge when two vehicles collided with one another. Police indicated that several people sustained injuries in the wreck.

One of the victims was taken to University Hospital by rescue crews. The extent of the injuries sustained by those involved in the wreck was not made known.

It was unclear as to what caused the accident and who may have been at fault. The names of those involved in the two-vehicle wreck were also not made available.

Morning commuters were inconvenienced for over an hour as emergency crews were required to close the right lane of the exit ramp to clear the accident scene. The lane was reopened at approximately 7:00 AM that morning.

The Cincinnati car accident is still under investigation by local authorities.

This is an unfortunate incident and we wish all of the victims a speedy recovery during this difficult time.
