Cincinnati Auto Accident Claims the Life of One ManPosted on Jul 22, 2010
According to Cincinnati Police traffic officials, a driver was heading the wrong way in the southbound lanes of I-75, near the Towne Street exit, when he slammed into a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer was traveling south on I-75 when the incident occurred.
The driver has been identified as 22-year-old Joshua Baskerville. According to reports, Baskerville became trapped in his car and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was also reported as not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the tractor-trailer has been identified as 54-year-old Louis Quaack. Fortunately, Quaack was not injured in the early morning wreck.
The fatal Cincinnati auto accident is still under investigation by local authorities. No information was provided as to why Baskerville may have been driving the wrong way in the southbound lanes of I-75. Officials have asked anyone with information pertaining to this accident to contact the Traffic Unit at (513) 352-2514.
