4 Injured in Multiple-Car Louisville, KY Auto Accident

On the first Saturday of the New Year, four people were injured and taken to the hospital after a Louisville car crash occurred. Authorities stated that three cars were involved in this wreck that took place in the 6000 block of West Pages Lane in Pleasure Ridge Park.
This Louisville, KY accident happened just after 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 7th, 2012, when a Chevy sedan ran a stop sign on Devonshire Drive. Police said that the Chevy was hit by a GMC Sierra pickup truck. The impact of the collision forced the Chevy into a yard and caused it to hit a parked car that was in the driveway. Authorities said that the crash almost hit the home nearby.
Three people traveling in the Chevy and one person in the pickup truck were taken to University Hospital for medical care. According to police, two of the people were reported to be in serious condition.
Neighbors in the area where the accident occurred have witnessed other dangerous accidents that have taken place at the same intersection. In fact, some have been planning on contacting city government officials about that dangerous intersection.
One man told reporters that the area is not safe, and that he has to keep his eyes peeled when he is cutting grass. Some of the neighbors also informed reporters that speed seems to be an issue around that area.
Just last year, a 77-year-old man died at the same intersection after he ran the stop sign and crashed into another car.
