The kidneys are a vital part of the body, as they filter the blood and rid the body of waste. There are many other functions of the kidneys, including balancing electrolyte levels, controlling blood pressure and stimulating red blood cell production. - Lethargy
- Weakness
- Shortness of breath
- Swelling

If kidney failure goes untreated, it can be fatal.
