Side Effects of Synthetic Pot According to a K2 Spice Lawyer
Was Your Child Burned by an Instant Noodle Soup Cup?
Signs and Treatment of Kidney Failure
Synthetic marijuana - known as K2 Spice - is flying off the shelves in certain smoke shops. Many users of the product believe they are smoking herbs as a legal alternative to marijuana. However, theses pot alternatives are sprayed with synthetic chemicals that act in much the same way as the active compounds found in marijuana.
Many doctors believe K2 Spice and other brands of synthetic marijuana are having negative effects on its users. Although synthetic pot contains herbs, the problem is not the herbs; it’s the chemicals (such as JWH-018 and others) that are sprayed on the herbs. Health officials are now finding that those chemicals have four to five times the potency of marijuana’s THC.
More and more emergency room doctors are seeing an increase in patients with side effects, including rapid heartbeat, increased anxiety, dangerously high blood pressure, agitation, and seizures, which all stem from synthetic pot. Other experts on this chemical indicate that the drug can cause aggressiveness and psychotic tendencies.
Because synthetic marijuana is a mixture of chemicals, it is more dangerous - two of the same brand of packets could have different chemical make-ups and different amounts of the drugs. Sadly, there are patients who have died from using K2 Spice or other brands, including:
Something this harmful shouldn’t be so easy to obtain. Although some states have responded by banning certain chemicals found in these synthetic drugs, it seems as if manufacturers of these drugs are staying a step ahead, and many chemicals are still available.
If you or a loved one suffered injuries or died as a result of using K2 Spice or one of these other brands of drugs, please call the attorneys of Schachter, Hendy, & Johnson at (859) 578-4444 or (888) 606-5297 to speak with a skilled K2 spice lawyer in Northern Kentucky about your potential case in a free legal consultation today.
