How do I know if my cochlear implant was defective?

Cochlear implant manufacturer Cochlear Americas notified the FDA in 2011 that some of its cochlear implants were defectively made. There is a problem with the feed-through that allows moisture into the device causing early failure. At a minimum, the Cochlear Nucleus ci512 is defective, however other devices may also be defective.

If you or a loved one have had a Cochlear Nucleus ci512 fail, please contact our experienced cochlear implant attorneys at (888) 606-5297 for a free consultation about your potential Cochlear Nucleus lawsuit. We have helped many other people with the same defect in another type of cochlear implant. If you call us, we will do our very best for you as well.
